"I had my returns prepared by JH in Mississippi a couple of years ago. They charged me $660. The very next year, I had Andrew prepare my returns. He charged me $220 for the same kind of return preparation and he had to do a ton of work that the JH tax preparers were unwilling to do just to get my documents in order for the return. On top of that, the IRS flagged my JH returns for an audit. I couldn't find the people who prepared my returns to defend their work. The IRS was happy with Andrew's work but I got stuck with a tax bill for the returns that the JH preparers did because of some things the JH people did on my returns."
